Player Community Guidelines
Total Battle is a place to compete, build, and spend time with your Clan. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from everyone who plays, so that the game stays fair, safe, and welcoming.
They apply to all players, all of the time, and to everything you post or display: chat messages, usernames, Clan names, Clan descriptions, and how you behave in the game itself.
Total Battle chat is text only. You can't upload images or videos, so some of the rules below talk about links rather than uploads.
Most of it comes down to one idea: play hard, and treat other people decently. The sections below set out where the lines are. At the end, you'll find what happens if someone crosses them, how to report a problem, and how to appeal if you think we got a decision wrong.
These guidelines are a summary written for players. They sit atop our full policies, which prevail in the event of a discrepancy. Cases involving a player under 18 are handled under our Minor Safety approach.
Respect other players
People come here to compete, build, and hang out with their Clan, not to be harassed, demeaned, or shown sexual content they didn't ask for.
No non-consensual sexual content. Don't share links to, or threaten to share, sexual images, video, or descriptions of someone without their consent, including altered or AI-generated fakes. Don't demand content, money, or items by threatening to share or create such material (sextortion). Don't send sexual content, or links to it, to anyone who hasn't asked for it.
No sexual content, even between consenting adults. No sexual text, role-play, or links to sexual material, whether in chat or in usernames, Clan names, or Clan descriptions.
No harassment. No threats of physical or sexual violence. No slurs or discriminatory abuse. No doxxing (sharing or threatening to share someone's real-world details). No repeated unwanted contact after someone asks you to stop, blocks you, or leaves the conversation.
No bullying. No public pile-ons or ridicule aimed at a specific player. No coordinated shaming or exclusion. No griefing (using in-game actions to hound a specific player when there's nothing to win, like spam-attacking to flood their notifications, or chasing them across relocations and Kingdoms). Normal competitive play, including attacking a rival and taking their resources, is always fine.
Watch your language
The odd swear word in the heat of a battle is part of the game, and we're pretty relaxed about that kind of thing. What we don't allow is constant, excessive profanity that fills up chat. If your messages are persistently vulgar to the point that others have to wade through them, that's a violation, even when no single message crosses another line.
Swearing that's aimed at another player, or that occurs as part of harassment, hate speech, or a threat, is covered by the relevant rules above, whatever words are used.
Keeping younger players safe
Some players here are younger than others. They must be able to play without being targeted, pressured, or exposed to content that puts them at risk. These rules apply to everyone, always.
No sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form. That includes sexual role-play or stories in chat, links to drawings, AI images, and fan art.
No grooming. Don't ask a younger player for personal information, photos, or to keep things secret. Don't offer resources or favors in exchange for personal contact.
No moving younger players off-platform for private one-to-one contact.
No sextortion, including pretending to have sexual content.
No sharing a player's personal information (name, school, address, phone number, links to their photos, or off-platform handles).
No lying about your age to reach younger players, and no pretending to be younger to reach other minors.
Usernames, Clan names, and descriptions are held to a higher standard here, because they appear across the game without context. They must not include sexual references involving children, age-coded language, school references, or symbols or slogans used to sexualise minors, including disguised spellings or numbers used in place of letters.
No hate speech
You have the right to play without being attacked for who you are.
Don't attack people because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion or belief, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or caste.
That means no slurs aimed at a group, no discriminatory generalizations, no dehumanizing language, no hate symbols or coded references, no calls for or celebration of violence against a group, and no coordinated pile-ons against a community.
Keeping everyone safe
A few kinds of content can put real-world safety at risk, whether it be yours or someone else's.
No promoting or facilitating dangerous acts. No encouraging dangerous viral challenges, no sourcing or selling illegal drugs, and no instructions for weapons, explosives, or 3D-printed firearms.
Self-harm, suicide, and eating disorders. If you are struggling, you will not get in trouble for talking about it, and we want you to find support. What isn't allowed is glorifying or romanticizing this, sharing instructions, pressuring others ("kill yourself"-style messages, pro-ana or pro-mia coordination), or recruiting for groups that promote it.
Support is available right now. In the US, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988). In the UK, Samaritans (call 116 123, free, available 24 hours a day). Elsewhere, contact your local emergency services. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
No violent extremism. No promoting, glorifying, or recruiting for violent extremist groups or attacks, no manifestos or attack-planning content, and no extremist symbols or coded language.
No threats. No threats of violence against the public, a venue or event, Scorewarrior or its staff, or a group, and no bomb or school-shooting-style threats, even as a joke.
Threats aimed at a specific player are covered under "Respect other players," above.
No illegal activities
Chats and Clans aren't for arranging real-world crime. This isn't aimed at people sharing a recovery story or talking about the news.
No selling, sourcing, advertising, or arranging illegal goods or services: illegal drugs, weapons you can't lawfully transfer, stolen goods, fake IDs, counterfeit money or luxury goods, hacking tools, malware, DDoS-for-hire, stolen credentials or card data, fraud-as-a-service, money laundering, smuggling, or trafficking coordination.
No using the game to point people to off-platform marketplaces for any of the above.
No coordinating other crimes: hacking, fraud or identity theft, theft or robbery, money laundering, large-scale piracy, or stalking (including off-platform stalking arranged through the game).
Drugs. Don't actively encourage others to take illegal drugs, recruit for drug-using groups, or glorify drugs in your username, Clan name, or description.
The line is whether you're arranging or facilitating something that is happening or about to happen.
Play fair
Players come to Total Battle to compete based on skill. These rules keep the playing field level.
No third-party software that gives an unfair advantage, including acting on information someone else obtained using such tools.
No technical tampering.
No information/tracker cheats.
No scripts, macros, or bots that play for you, including auto-farming and click-bots.
No exploiting game bugs to gain an advantage.
No buying, selling, or advertising the sale of game accounts or resources, and no commercial account transfers.
No real-money trading.
No account sharing. Don't let someone else play your account, and don't play someone else's.
Found a bug? You're protected if you report it. If you find a game bug and report it before exploiting it, you won't be sanctioned for the discovery. The protection only applies if you report it before taking advantage of it.
An honest platform with real people
Chats should be honest conversations between real people. The line is content that is both false and likely to cause real harm.
Don't spread harmful false information: health misinformation tied to imminent danger, scams dressed up as fact, or fabricated quotes meant to damage someone.
Don't create, link to, or fake deceptive content: deepfake audio or video, fake transcripts or screenshots, or impersonations of staff or players. This includes fakes built out of text or ASCII art.
Don't fake who's on the platform: no using multiple accounts to deceive or evade a ban, no bots or scripted accounts, no spam, no phishing, and no using someone else's account.
Disclose AI. From August 2026, if you share or link to AI-generated content depicting a real person, place, or event in a way that could deceive, you must say it's AI-generated (required by the EU AI Act). The simplest way is to write "AI-generated" in your message. Clearly labeled AI content is fine.
If your account gets hacked, report it to our Support Team. If it's confirmed, we'll help you recover it, and you won't be in trouble for what someone else did while they had access, as long as you report it. Letting someone use your account, or buying or selling one, is a Play Fair violation, not an account takeover.
Be yourself
You control how you appear in the game. Pretending to be someone you're not, to deceive, gain an advantage, or scam others, is not allowed.
Don't impersonate another player or a notable public figure (a streamer, esports pro, partner studio staff, or one of our partners) by using their name or identifier without consent.
Don't pretend to be a brand, studio, or organization, or suggest an official affiliation, endorsement, or partnership that doesn't exist. That includes using terms like "official," "support," "admin," or "team" to imply it.
Never impersonate Scorewarrior or platform staff. This is the strictest rule. No claiming to be a moderator, admin, support rep, or developer, and no usernames or Clan names designed to look like staff. There is no parody exception for staff impersonation, because the fraud risk is too high. We will never ask for your password, recovery codes, or items.
How we enforce these guidelines
We look at what happened, how serious it is, whether it's part of a pattern, and how recent it is, and then match the response accordingly. Depending on the case, that might mean an in-line warning, changing or resetting a username, Clan name, or Clan description, a mute, a chat or feature restriction, a suspension (short or long), or permanent termination of the account.
Some things lead to permanent account termination on the first confirmed violation, and may be reported to law enforcement:
Minor safety violations
Non-consensual sexual content
Violent extremism and credible threats
Transactional facilitation of illegal goods, services, or crimes
Impersonating Scorewarrior or platform staff
Permanent termination means the loss of all in-game items and balances, regardless of what triggered it.
Where required by law, we preserve and disclose content and account information to the competent authorities and cooperate with law enforcement under the applicable lawful-disclosure framework. In some countries, specific content must be removed within a set timeframe after a report is made, and we comply with that.
How to report
Seen something that violates these guidelines in chat? Use the Report button on any chat message, then choose the category that applies.
If you see something that violates these guidelines in a player name, Clan name, or Clan description, report it to our Support Team.
Regarding cheating, we monitor the use of automated means to gain an unfair advantage and take action where necessary. You are, however, still welcome to report it to our Support Team.
A few things worth knowing:
We never reveal who reported a player, and you don't need to share your age or identity to report.
A Self-harm or distress report doesn't punish the other player. It sends our team in to offer help.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then report in the game.
Appeals
We know detection isn't perfect. If you think we made a wrong decision, you can appeal it.
Contact Support, either through the in-game support contact or by email, and quote the Progress or Account ID that was affected.
Raise your appeal within 30 days of the sanction.
Your appeal is reviewed by someone other than the person who made the original decision.
If we got it wrong, we reverse the sanction. We take appeals seriously and audit ourselves for false positives.
