Several in-game chats have recently been targeted by scammers. Your reports were well received, and we've already taken action against the accounts responsible. We'd like to walk you through what to look out for in the future so you can keep your Total Battle account safe.

Common Scam Tactics

Fake resource selling

Some players may contact you inside or outside the game, offering resources such as Silver or Gold in exchange for payment. Selling in-game resources is against our Terms and Conditions, and these offers are usually fraudulent attempts to obtain your account details or banking information. Total Battle has no official resource sellers and will never reach out to you with special promotions through chat. 

Fake Total Battle shops

You may come across links to websites using some variation of the Total Battle name. These sites are not official — purchases made there will not result in resources being credited to your account, as unofficial websites have no way to do so. Be cautious of any link sent to you in chat, even if it looks legitimate — check the URL carefully before entering any login details.

Total Battle's official shops are all accessed from the game itself, but not through chats or links sent by other players.

Account stealing

Some players use various tactics to try to get your account information, including:

• Pretending to be an experienced player offering to "take care of" your account — this can include developing your account or changing settings, with the aim of stealing it. 

• Advertising cheaper packages that can only be purchased by accessing your account.

• Pretending to be a new player and asking detailed personal questions.

• Offering a "stronger" account in exchange for yours.

Remember: account sharing is not allowed in Total Battle. Never share your personal data with anyone in the game — doing so can result in permanent account loss.

Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp invitations

Some scammers will try to move the conversation to a third-party channel, where it's harder for us to monitor the situation or intervene. Being asked to continue a resource sale or account deal on Discord is a major red flag.

Impersonation of Total Battle staff

Some scammers pretend to be employees, moderators, or support staff — using similar names, avatars, or profile styles — to gain your trust. They may claim to be running a security check, or offer to fix an issue or apply "compensation," but only if you share your login details or make a payment first. Official Total Battle staff will never ask for your password, verification code, or payment details in chat or private messages.

Fake social media & community groups

Scammers also operate in Facebook groups, on fan pages, or in other unofficial communities claiming to represent Total Battle. Anyone can create a group using the game's name or artwork, and scammers may post "giveaways" or resource sales there to appear more credible.

What You Can Do

A simple rule of thumb

If an offer sounds too good to be true, or someone you don't know is asking for your login details, personal information, or payment outside official channels, it's a scam. Official Total Battle communications will never ask for your password or request that you log in via a third-party link.

Stay protected

• Use a strong, unique password.

• Never reuse your Total Battle password on other sites.

• Don't click links sent by other players, even if they claim to be a "gift" or "reward."

• Periodically review your linked email/account recovery details to make sure they're current and correct

If you're targeted

• Do not respond with any personal or account information.

• Report it directly through the in-game option so our team can investigate.

• Block the player.
