Lava Fountain Trial - new changes
The Lava Fountain Trial has received an exciting new update! Read more about it below, or watch the following YouTube video for a quick look into what's new: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UHLe8SGZCQ
Core Changes
Old Olympus Portals have been removed, and players have been compensated with Winged Drachmas (shop currency).
Lava Portals are new, limited-time event portals that can be used only to access Lava Fountains. They are removed after each iteration of the tournament
Attacking Lava Portals will only close them — it won't remove your Shield of Peace, steal any resources, and won't grant you any combat rewards.
You can no longer take over enemy Lava Fountains, and Lava Oil is no longer lost when you are attacked, reducing frustration and shifting combat toward direct rewards.
Permanent troop losses in Lava Fountain battles have been removed.
Troop recovery costs have been reduced by 30 times in Lava Fountain attacks, making repeated battles much more accessible.
Each Lava Fountain now has a limited number of incoming attacks, preventing overwhelming pressure. The limit is shown in the Lava Fountains interface, and available targets are marked above the Lava Fountains on the map.
Sending too few low-level troops to mine will apply a Lava Oil gathering speed penalty. Only troops that contribute Leadership are taken into account, and if a Lava Fountain is attacked and the defending Leadership drops, the gathering speed will automatically decrease.
New Tournament: Sealed in Flame
Earn Lava Seals from battles at Lava Fountains (both attackers and defenders).
Defenders receive Lava Seals only after their march returns from the Lava Fountain.
Progress through personal goals to unlock rewards, which scale based on your troop level.
Division rankings have been added, featuring new titles and Lava Oil rewards based on placement.
Lava Oil Rebalance
Reduced Lava Oil from the Pursuit of Lava Oil event.
Added new sources: Sealed in Flame milestones and rankings.
New Exclusive Reward
The Olympus City Appearance, which grants a powerful bonus — available in the Olympus shop.
Requires players to save up Winged Drachmas across multiple tournament iterations.
